Here we are again with the second winter storm threat this week. However, this one looks to be a bit more snowier compared to the recent one. Read below!
Simulated Radar Thursday 1am - 10am
Here is the simulated radar from early tomorrow morning through mid-morning tomorrow. As you can see, snow will overspread the state right in time for the morning commute. Expect a snowy morning commute tomorrow morning across many areas. Due to the timing of the snow, expect school delays and potential school closures.
Simulated Radar Thursday 10am- Thursday 8pm
After a little bit of a break in the action in the middle of the day Thursday, expect snow to fill back in later in the afternoon and evening. Due to the timing of the snow building back in, expect a tricky afternoon and evening commute Thursday. After the sun goes down, road conditions will likely worsen as the snow will continue to accumulate. With warmer air rushing in, some areas could experience sleet (hot pink), freezing rain (purple), or regular rain.
Simulated Radar Thursday 8pm - Friday 7am
After 8 pm Thursday, snow will continue to fall but slowly taper off throughout the night. Most of the snow looks to move out of the area by Friday morning. However, expect slick road conditions early Friday morning. Due to the timing of the snow, some school districts could delay on Friday.
